Northern Collaborative Information Technology (NCIT)

The goal of the NCIT program is to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to understand the theoretical and applied uses of information technology in various business applications. You will be exposed to various programming, scripting and mark up languages. You will also acquire an understanding of IT in a business environment, as well as develop customer service skills. We emphasize training in Microsoft® software products.

Admission Prerequisites

Provide transcripts indicating Grade 10 level completion that includes: Grade 10 English with C+ or higher, and Grade 10 Math (Applications or Principles), with B or higher; or

Complete successfully the Adult Basic Education Math Placement Assessment.

You are strongly recommended to have some expisrue to computers, including: Windows, applications (Word, Accsss, Exel), the Internet, and programming.
